Talk to Via

Two ways in — a public mention, or a private assistant panel.
Step 1

Mention @Via

Mention Viably in any channel it's in and ask your question. Via reads the surrounding thread for context and streams its answer back in real time.

Step 2

Open the assistant panel

Use Slack's assistant container to chat with Via in a dedicated side panel — a private space for back-and-forth that doesn't post to the channel.

Step 3

Keep the thread going

Reply in the thread and Via stays in the conversation, carrying context forward without needing to be mentioned again.

What Via can do

Via is agentic — when your request implies an action, it calls the right tool instead of just describing what to do. A few of the things it can take care of without you leaving the chat:

It only acts on what you enable. Via’s tools map to your workspace’s powers — if a power is switched off, its tool isn’t offered. So the assistant can do exactly as much as you’ve turned on, and no more.

Models & API keys

Chat runs over OpenRouter, so you can pick the model that fits your team’s taste and budget from the dashboard, and bring your own key if you’d rather run on your own account.

Multiple models

Choose the chat model from the dashboard picker. Viably routes between a detection model and an execution model under the hood for fast, accurate tool use.

Bring your own key

Add your own OpenRouter key in settings and Via runs on your account. Without a key, workspaces use Viably’s pooled access under a daily and monthly spend cap. See the /usage dashboard for current AI spend.
