Making automation viable.
A running log of new automations, integrations, and features. Add Viably free and get them the moment they land.
The Viably+ trial now runs on Stripe
The 14-day trial used to start quietly at install and end just as quietly, which meant it was often over before anyone had a reason to use it. It now begins when you choose to start it from the billing page, runs as a real Stripe subscription, and rolls into the paid plan on day 15 unless you cancel. Nothing is charged during the fortnight, Stripe emails you a reminder three days before the end, and cancelling in the meantime costs nothing. The Free plan is unchanged and still needs no card, so nothing about trying Viably has moved behind a payment step.
WhatsApp enquiries become contacts, and the record around them grew up
A wa.me link used to be where the trail went cold. WhatsApp is now a relay type of its own, so a visitor who taps your button arrives as a named contact carrying the page they came from, the campaign that sent them there, and the message they were about to type, and it reports as its own row in acquisition by source instead of disappearing into your contact form numbers. The reference code in that prefilled message is what joins the two halves of the handoff: confirm it from the Slack card when the conversation shows up and the number is proved against the record, while the enquiries that never arrived stay on the contact as exactly that. The record itself picked up the same treatment. Referrals sent as referred_by_email now read in both directions, linking a customer to whoever sent them and giving the referrer a running count of everybody they have brought you, and any payload key your webhooks have been sending can be promoted into a proper field that fills in on every contact that ever carried it, all the way back through your history.
Recover lost sales from failed Stripe payments
Stripe endpoints can now relay charge.failed events, so a declined card or an abandoned checkout arrives in your channel as a recovery alert that already carries the product, the amount, the decline reason, and the customer's contact details, stitched together from your other Stripe events. Every failure can open a follow-up task automatically so someone owns winning the sale back, and it is on by default for new Stripe endpoints. Repeat failures from the same customer collapse into a single alert per day, so dunning retries and stubborn cards never flood the channel. Cart abandonment at the payment step becomes a warm lead your team can act on while the interest is still fresh.
Extended webhook reporting for Viably+
Viably+ workspaces now keep their webhook relay history for several months, so the Month in Review trend charts can look back across earlier months rather than only the current billing period. Your incoming events become a longer record you can revisit whenever you want to compare periods or follow how a category is moving. Free workspaces continue to chart the current period.
Webhook trends in your Month in Review
Month in Review now charts your incoming webhook activity as daily trend lines โ one per category like transactions, sign-ups, and lead-gen โ so you can see which events are picking up over the month at a glance. Click a category to toggle its line on or off.
Medal seasons and bounty tasks
The medal leaderboard now runs in seasons with clean resets, visible right in the Slack leaderboard message. One-off bounty tasks reward ad-hoc wins, awarding is human-only, and each repo can silence issue, PR, push, or workflow noise on its own.
@Via got more reliable, and smarter about billing
Multi-step requests like filing an issue, reminding the channel, and tagging someone now land every step more consistently. Managed AI workspaces recharge automatically when credits run low, and the Mark Done button in a thread stays in sync when @Via closes a task from chat.
Task management page, and a batch of reliability fixes
A dedicated task management page in the dashboard, recurring task templates that reliably spawn their next occurrence, and a fix so GitHub pull requests stop getting mistaken for bug reports.
Weekly digest, Month in Review, and webhook automation
A weekly pulse lands in the channel summarizing open issues, unclaimed tasks, and upcoming reminders. A Month in Review recaps the quarter, incoming webhook events can open a tracked task on their own, and the pricing page got a self-serve calculator.
Team calendar, backed by Google Calendar
A shared team calendar in the dashboard, backed by a Google service account and triggered with ๐๏ธ in Slack. Task due dates, issue deadlines, and reminders now show up in one place.
Viably+ and Stripe billing
Introduced the Viably+ tier with higher limits and a 14-day free trial โ no credit card. Manage plans through Stripe Hosted Checkout right from the command center.
Unified kanban for tasks and issues
Tasks and issues now share one board with a toggle, so everything your team is working on lives in a single, consistent view.
Two-tier AI routing
@Via now uses a fast model to read intent and a capable model to execute tool use โ more accurate multi-action requests with less waiting.
GitHub App integration
Link repositories per workspace and sync issues two-way between Slack and GitHub, with per-repo controls over what can be created.
Multi-model routing
Moved AI chat onto a multi-provider router for access to 8+ models, with per-workspace selection and bring-your-own-key support.
