Questions about plans
Do I need a credit card to try Viably+?
You need one to start the 14-day trial, because the trial runs on your Stripe subscription and rolls straight into the paid plan when it finishes. Nothing is charged during those 14 days, and cancelling before the last day costs you nothing. You never need a card for the Free plan, which carries the full feature set and does not expire.
What happens on day 15?
Stripe charges the card on file for your chosen interval and the workspace carries on without interruption. Three days before that, Stripe emails you a reminder, so the charge is never a surprise. Cancel at any point during the trial and the subscription simply ends with nothing billed.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. If you exceed the Free channel limit, Viably keeps your busiest channels active and pauses powers in the rest until you upgrade or free up a slot — your history stays intact.
What counts as an utterance?
An utterance is one thing Via does for your team. Creating a task, filing an issue, setting a reminder, pinning a message, giving a medal, receiving a webhook and posting one to a channel each count as one. An @Via AI reply, an email Via sends and an image upload each count as two. An uptime ping and a crawled page each count as a tenth. The Usage page in your dashboard breaks the total down for your workspace.
What is a tracked message event?
Every message posted in a channel Via has been invited to counts as one message event, whether or not anyone asks Via for anything. A busy channel where nobody uses Via can spend the allowance on its own, so remove Via from channels like that on the Channels page. Admins get a warning when the workspace reaches 80% of its allowance.
Can I add more capacity without upgrading tiers?
Yes. Viably+ includes top-up packs. Each adds 1 channel, 1,000 utterances, 1,000 message events and 3,000 agent API calls, billed on the same interval as your plan.
What is Extended webhook reporting?
Every webhook event you relay is charted in the Month in Review area of your dashboard, grouped by category such as transactions and signups. On Viably+ your relay history is kept for several months, so those trend charts can look back across earlier months when you want to compare periods or follow how a category is moving. Free workspaces see the current billing period in their charts.
Which currencies are supported?
Prices are shown and charged in USD via Stripe Hosted Checkout. Manage or cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal in your dashboard.
