Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By signing up for or using Viably, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you are using Viably on behalf of a company, team, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms and that the entity will be responsible for all use of the service under your account.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Viably. Viably is operated by Supertype Pte. Ltd. (“Supertype”, “we”, or “us”).

What Viably provides

Viably is a workspace assistant for Slack and related products that helps teams manage work, automate workflows, connect external services, and access AI-powered assistance inside their everyday collaboration tools. We provide access to the features and integrations you enable in your workspace, subject to your subscription plan, applicable limits, and the configuration choices you make in the product.

Your responsibilities

• Lawful use: You must use Viably in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including any applicable Slack, Google, GitHub, or third-party platform terms that govern the data you send or request through our service.
• Account security: You are responsible for keeping your workspace, credentials, and admin access secure. If you enable integrations or add API keys, you remain responsible for those credentials and the access they grant.
• Correct data: You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and appropriateness of the content you send to Viably, including any message payloads, attachments, or data you choose to sync into one of our Powers.
• Authorized use: You may not use Viably to collect, inspect, or process data from channels, workspaces, or users who have not consented to that access or who are not otherwise permitted to have it processed under your contract, policy, or legal rights.

Subscriptions and billing

Certain features and higher usage limits may require a paid plan. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees described in the applicable pricing or checkout flow, including any taxes or third-party payment fees charged to your account.

We may change pricing, plan features, or billing terms with reasonable notice, but the fee for an active subscription remains as disclosed at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. If a payment fails or a subscription is canceled, some features may become limited or unavailable until billing is updated.

Data handling and privacy

Viably processes data to operate the Powers, integrations, and workflows you enable. Our collection and use of personal and workspace data is described in our Privacy Policy. For details on removing your data from the service, see our User Data Deletion page. By using the service, you acknowledge and agree that we may process data as described there, including the transmission of data to third-party services when needed to provide a feature you have turned on.

Availability and service changes

We aim to keep Viably available and reliable, but no hosted software service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, including features, integrations, pricing, or support, for operational, security, legal, or business reasons.

Intellectual property

Viably and its software, interfaces, trademarks, and related materials remain the property of Supertype and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content, data, and materials you provide to the service, but by using Viably you grant us the rights necessary to operate the service, process your requests, and provide the features you have enabled.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the service except as expressly permitted in these Terms or in a written agreement with Supertype.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Viably if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay fees when due, or if continued use would create a legal, security, or operational risk. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, and we may delete or disable access to your workspace data in accordance with our retention policy and the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

Viably is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet every business or operational requirement.

Except where prohibited by law, Supertype shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of business, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to use of the service.Our aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if no fees were paid, to a nominal amount determined by applicable law.

Indemnification and dispute resolution

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Supertype, its affiliates, and employees from claims arising from your use of Viably, including misuse of the service, unauthorized access to third-party systems, or violation of applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore for resolving such disputes, unless a different governing law is required by local regulations.

Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we do, we will post the updated version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
